Helpful Tips

  • Sit to the back of your chair and support your lower back (use towel, or lumbar support as needed)
  • Sit close to your workstation
  • Relax shoulders, elbows at your sides, and wrists straight
  • Rest arms, wrists, or both while typing or working
  • Keep feet in contact with the ground with thighs and forearms parallel to the floor
  • Organize office and keep frequently used objects closest
  • Keep underneath your workspace clear
  • Keep the top of your monitor at eye level and arms length away to keep head and neck upright
  • The best posture is your next posture
  • Change positions often and take regular breaks
